Our commitment
New Image Realty LLC is an Equal Housing Opportunity provider. We do not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local fair housing laws.
Federal Fair Housing Act
The federal Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended) prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing based on:
- Race
- Color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- Familial status (families with children under 18, including pregnant women)
- Disability
Alabama state law
The Alabama Fair Housing Act (Ala. Code § 24-8-1 et seq.) mirrors the federal law and provides additional protections. It is illegal to discriminate in any housing-related transaction based on the protected classes above.
What this means in practice
- We show, market, and offer all properties to all qualified buyers without preference.
- We do not steer clients toward or away from neighborhoods based on demographics.
- We do not express a preference for or against any buyer or seller based on a protected class.
- We make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities.
- Our advertising complies with fair housing guidelines and the HUD "Equal Housing Opportunity" logo is displayed across our marketing.
How to file a complaint
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you may file a complaint:

- With the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA).

Complaints must generally be filed within one year of the alleged discriminatory act under federal law.
